Ileigh Hellier

Ileigh was born in Batahbah (Belmont) (1995). Ileigh has a Diploma of Visual Arts from Newcastle Art School (2015) and a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Newcastle (2017). Ileigh has been a finalist in the John Glover Prize, Jacaranda Drawing Prize, Waverley Art Prize and the Deakin University Small Sculpture prize. Ileigh has had 5 solo exhibitions and numerous group exhibitions including exhibitions with Maitland Regional Art Gallery, Despard Gallery, Curatorial and Co, Backwoods Gallery and Boom Gallery.. She recently collaborated with the clothing company, Nancy Bird, on a Summer Capsule Collection. Her work is held in both public and private collections.
