Ann-Maree has worked in and volunteered for organisations across the Hunter to advocate for the rights of children and adults from disadvantaged backgrounds and those with disabilities. in retirement she continues to use her skills and expertise on the board of charities and volunteer groups. Ann-Maree now pursues her passion for art and exhibits as a practicing fibre and visual artist as well as organising workshops and exhibitions for the Society of Artists Newcastle Inc.
