Ada Bizzarri, former owner and cook (alongside husband Lorenzo) of Hamilton’s Northern Star Café taught her children and grandchildren their family-favourite game. A first-generation immigrant, Ada carries a reputation of a serious pragmatist, a hardworking woman raising a family in a foreign country, but a perfectly timed Jolli never fails to bring her a toothy grin and a cheeky chuckle. She has a terrible poker face.
