Virginia Cuppaidge

Australian Artist Virginia Cuppaidge is a Guggenheim recipient and has had thirty-four solo exhibitions in Australia and the USA.

Her work is represented in public collections including the National Gallery of Art, The Australian embassy Washington DC, and Newcastle Art Gallery.

Virginia’s painting practice is recognised for “exploring the range of possibilities of an ideal and consummate correspondence between nature and painting.”

Having spent many years living in New York City, Virginia now lives in Newcastle Australia and works from her studio at Newcastle Art Space.
