I am one of the studio artists at Newcastle Art Space and have been a studio artist here for just over five years now.   In  2018 I did a two-week residency in the old NAS Gallery, which ultimately led to me obtaining my first studio space.

My main areas of work are acrylic, watercolour and gouache painting as well as pen and ink drawing and en plein air drawings done out in the community.  In 2022 I worked under the mentorship of established local artist Graham Wilson on a series of works based on the “mid-century modern” style of housing popular during the 1950s and 1960s.

In 2024, to recognise the International Day of People with a Disability, I collaborated with the Newcastle Art Gallery to lead a free workshop "Vibrant Suburbia" at Newcastle Art Space. About 20 people attended the workshop, where we created unique works of suburban interiors by collaging objects cut out of pages from home decorating books and magazines.
