Menopause a world of extremes, creating darkness where light was. It’s hard, confusing, lonely, and not going anywhere. Niggling voices of self-doubt, physical insecurity and brain fog turn up to high frequency, and it’s loud. At the same time BIG societal voices get louder. We’re too old, too fat, too slow, too unsexy, too tired, too anxious. We’re both too much – yet not enough? Out to pasture, marketed as a different audience. We see it in our algorithm – where once was once lingerie, there’s lube. The voices haunt, not heal. So, let’s change them? Acknowledgement is power, but we don’t have to believe them. What if we flipped the script, owned our scared feminine, took control of our crone era. What if this is our becoming? Our renewal? Our birth by fire. What if we claimed our divine right to be, to soar, to f*ck, to feel safe and sacred in our own bodies BECAUSE of the sagging bits and the extra kilos. Because with reclamation comes knowledge, power, and ancient wisdom.
