Serena Owen

Serena is a ceramicist and has a background working in arts administration and community arts in federal and local government, and not-for-profit.

She has a Fine Arts degree and Graduate Diploma of Education from the University of Newcastle, and completed a business administration traineeship at Newcastle Region Art Gallery. More recently Serena completed her Diploma and Advanced Diploma of Ceramics at Hornsby TAFE.

Serena is a partner in MakingTime Gallery in Clovelly, teaches ceramics in community arts and high school settings, makes from her studio at NAS and exhibits regularly.
