Louise Faulkner
Louise Faulkner is a photographic artist. Tertiary and post-graduate studies in ecological science combined with a fascination for the natural world feed her photographic practice. Memorialising, authenticity, and capturing the poetic are drivers for her work.
Louise has worked in natural resource, sustainability and environmental management roles in government for more than 30 years. She is currently the Tourism & Partnerships Manager for NSW State Forests, a role that encompasses overseeing visitor experiences across 2 million hectares of public lands, building strategic partnerships, coordinating grant-funded projects and managing social media marketing.
Louise exhibits regularly in group shows and has achieved numerous awards for her photography, including a finalist berth in the prestigious Bowness Photography Prize. She has curated the 'Clouds' exhibitions for Newcastle Art Space, and is a proud member of the WH!P Collective (Women of the Hunter in Photography).
