Adolescence is the second painting in a series of five works under the title, Mindscapes.

My intention is to evoke for the viewer the longings, excitement, fears, love, loss, and heartbreak of their own adolescence, as well as the engaging teenage exploration of life’s meaning. Using elements of good poetry where meaningful subtext is suggested with images difficult to be certain about, the viewer is prompted to project onto the work, and perhaps discover a meaning of their own.
