Service Description
We are offering free photography sessions for emerging artists who are entering the 2021 Hunter Emerging Art Prize. With the move to online entries we want to give all emerging artists an opportunity to have their artwork photographed professionally. The sessions are for 15 minutes, enabling the photographer to best capture your work. The health of everyone involved is vitally important, therefore we ask that you arrive on time, leave your works with our helpers for the photo session then return 1.5 hours later for collection. Please remember to socially distance, wear a mask, and do not attend if you have any COVID symptoms. Please get in touch with us if you develop symptoms or need to go into isolation after booking your session. Sessions are limited and we are allowing four artists each hour to drop off their work. Your name, phone number and email must be attached to the artwork, along with any instructions for the photographer. Your artwork will be signed in and signed out by one of our team. Newcastle Art Space does not accept any responsibility for the loss, damage or theft of any works or any property of the artist/s while on site. These photo sessions are funded by Made In Newcastle and the RISE funding provided by the Australian Federal Government.
