A family trip into Newcastle to watch the 2019 NYE fireworks took a turn when a super storm cell moved in and showered the city with thousands of lightning strikes. The fireworks show was cancelled and replaced with a more spectacular show of nature's raw power. This image is a small 75 seconds sample of the hour long show.
