Vita La Viva
About the artwork:
Using acrylic paint with brush, spatula, and fingers. My daughter in-law, is depicted in multiple aspects of her devotion to marriage, motherhood, spirituality, career – reflected in her portrait. Colours are important to express diverse aspects of her character. I use acrylic due to the control I have as I apply my tones. With every application is an intent to draw forward the subject. I merge my use of techniques with the flow of paint in a very faint manner so that layers reveal my vision.
