At the composition's centre sits an enigmatic figure—part human, part mythic presence—whose pale, shield-like face bears two stacked almond eyes gazing outward with unsettling calm. The face is bisected by colour and texture: cool blue against muted earth tones, suggesting a fractured or dual self. A bold red pennant flares from the head like a ceremonial headdress or a thought escaping into the world. Texture varies from smooth watercolor washes to gritty, stippled surfaces, lending the work an archaeological quality, as if it were simultaneously being created and excavated.
The figure's body dissolves into an ochre landscape strewn with symbolic objects: a red pencil, segmented blue serpentine forms that writhe across the surface, and a fish-scaled arm reaching upward toward a small blue flower—perhaps grasping for meaning or offering a gift we cannot see.
