The process of painting is that the canvas is your freedom, can be a bit intimidating at first and seldom times freeze you for hours. But It's important to just throw some paint on the board and see where it takes you. This painting "Indifferent" is layers on layers. The characters looked boring and lifeless from the begining but after the process of messing about and throwing further paint onto the canvas you can be surprised by how it progressses the art piece. I tend to use broad range of colours in my artworks but limited myself to a more dullish paint pallet for the design process as one side wouldn't over power the other side. I focused my attention on the balance of the piece to avoid any tension. I want to finish off by stating the final outcome of this piece was purely due to the experimentation and throwing paint around. Please don't be afraid to play with the brush strokes and see how far the process can lead you.
