This sculpture explores the dynamic interplay between tension and compression through a configuration that sculpts negative space as a central element. Using stretched netting suspended between wooden and metal rods, the work transforms absence into form, inviting a rethinking of how structure can be both rigid and fluid. The netting becomes a membrane that holds and defines space, rather than simply occupying it, while the rods act in compression to maintain a delicate equilibrium.
