I feel so lucky to have these old dunny lanes in Mayfield still for public use. These run North to South and have the most wonderful shadows. In the lanes is like being in another world, it's quiet, calm and full of colour - a lot of that from Colorbond fencing. Sitting painting in there gives me a real feeling of connection to Mayfield. The lanes are constantly changing and so I see no end to this series.
