As a child, I often dreamed of escaping to a world devoid of pain and judgment, a realm far removed from feelings of shame, conformity, and loneliness. This work encapsulates my childhood journey into adulthood. Creating artwork with a profound emotional connection enables me to gain a deeper understanding of my artistic identity. By channelling my emotions into my work, I can release the weight of poignant memories.
