This work explores the intersection of memory, imagination and place. Built through layers of colour, texture and intricate detail the surface is richly worked with acrylic paint, ink and paint pens, allowing small moments and hidden narratives to reveal themselves over time. Pathways, structures and organic forms emerge and recede, creating a sense of discovery and movement inviting the viewer into a world that is both familiar and elusive.

The painting encourages a slow viewing experience, I aimed to capture a sense of curiosity, growth and possibility where each return offers something new to uncover. Urban Wild asks what happens when we stop designing every corner and allow space for wildness to return.
