Workshop: Surface Alchemy is open for enrollment

This workshop will be facilitated by artists Pablo Tapia and Anne Marie Murland at Newcastle Art Space Saturday July 6, 10-1 pm.

The workshop is suitable for artists at all levels of creativity who have an interest in the blend of traditional and contemporary surface preparation and construction processes.

The workshop program includes:

Preparing a ground/imprimatura with rabbit skin glue and gesso

Preparing a ground imprimatura - experimental/alternate surfaces

Preparation of an oil ground on canvas on board

Preparation of an oil ground on experimental/alternate surfaces

Open to bookings
