Caroline Traill

Caroline is a contemporary multidisciplinary artist with the Australian landscape being the primary influence and focus of her work. With a background in the Arts, having initially trained in special effects for film and television and later training in visual arts, she continues to be involved in community fundraising projects and is currently a soloist and committee member with the award winning Newcastle Chamber Choir.

As a studio artist at NAS, she has enjoyed the process of growing her practice and has exhibited both locally and regionally and continues to enjoy the community involvement and volunteering aspects of the organisation. With ten years experience as a small business owner combined with an Arts background, she brings strong interpersonal skills, teamwork and a desire to build on the organisation's key objectives and core business.
