Basic Brushwork with Pablo Tapia teaches artists a fundamental but almost lost knowledge – how to correctly use the most cherished tools in the painter’s trade. Artists will learn how to properly hold brushes, knives, rags and mixing palettes. They will also learn the best methods to efficiently load their brushes plus the many types of marks they can create with them. After watching this workshop artists will be using the time tested atelier tradition and will be confident that their new knowledge will secure archival procedures and bring them closer to their expressive artistic mastery.
