Barb works a lot on emotive themes and finds it difficult to envisage a form in the beginning. As a maker of jewellery and sculpture, she generally has many materials at her disposal for the themes and ideas she is working through. Sometimes it is difficult to choose the best materials for her ideas. Drawing, gathering, planning, playing and being prepared to change and morph the piece, as it occurs, are of paramount importance for the outcome of the idea.
