Anne Von Bertouch
About the artwork:
l used to visit Anne Avon Bertouch's gallery, attending the many openings, or just popping in on a
weekend. Anne was always so welcoming with a cup of coffee and would listen to all with the same
interest, regardless of wether you were a student or a professional artist. Her gallery was warm and
inviting. I portrayed her in one of her many caftans, with motifs from Australian women artists such as
Margaret Preston. I think Anne would be pleased.
