This piece represents the strength of passing on knowledge for First Nations women. This piece represents the traditional weaving practices and is shown through the multiple layers that I have built up with the application of paint.The first layer is Lomandra grass,to create woven pieces, the practice of harvesting,collecting and soaking the grasses, all forms the conversations that form the woven thread, that encapsulates Womens Business today.
