"Ada's Camellias 2" is from my latest body of work exploring urban environments around my neighbourhood in Newcastle. The layered process reflects the conflict between our desire for neat gardens and the unruly beauty of the natural world, inviting viewers to reflect on the limits of control and the possibility of finding meaning in the imperfect.

About the artist:
I'm a Newcastle based artist practicing out of The Creator Incubator in Hamilton North. I was also born and raised in Newcastle and completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at Newcastle University.
