As a ceramic artist, my work explores the perception of the vessel. The notion that the vessel has a presence and its presence can exist to accommodate the presence of something else. A vessel may be empty but it can also be filled. In ‘My Cup Runneth Over’ abundance is expressed in a cascading rhythm that overflows from the vessel in a cadent wave, embracing its own inner being.
