ABOUT THE NAS ART RAFFLE

​
In 2025 Newcastle Art Space is celebrating 40+ years of existence, with a program of special events including an alumni artist exhibition in May and a Birthday Party fundraiser event in June. 
​
The Birthday Party fundraiser event, held amidst the mesmerising installation work of artist Jen Denzin, will be free to attend and culminate in a ticketed Art Raffle where every ticket holder will win an artwork to take home on the night!
​
Thanks to the generous donations of a number of esteemed local artists, we have already started an exciting collection of small works to be raffled on the night.
​
We are asking artists to consider supporting Newcastle Art Space this year by donating a small artwork to this fundraiser. All proceeds from the raffle ticket sales will help fund the delivery of NAS' future creative programming, assisting NAS to continue to run exciting and affordable opportunities for our region's emerging and established artists.

If you would like to donate an artwork to the 2025 NAS Art Raffle, please submit an expression of interest via the form below.
 
Once you submit this form we will be in touch to confirm if your donation has been selected for the Art Raffle.

Art Raffle Ticket Sales Close (unless sold out prior): Friday 6th June 2025
Art Raffle Drawn: 8pm Friday 6th June 2025

ARTWORK REQUIREMENTS

  • We are seeking small 2D and 3D works (approx 60cm in any direction). 

  • For 2D works, please write the artwork title, medium and your name on the back.

  • Please include an image of your artwork with this submission, this will assist us to promote the artwork as part of the Art Raffle promotion.

Image of your artwork

Your uploaded image should be:

  • A minimum of 750 pixels on the shortest side

  • Saved in .jpg or .png format only 

  • Preferred file size is no more than 2MB

  • The file name must include the artist’s name and title of the work as listed on the submission form e.g.firstname_lastname_titleofwork.jpg.​

Photography & reproduction of artwork

By donating this artwork, you authorise Newcastle Art Space to capture and publish images of the artwork for use in all publications (catalogues, folders, posters, slide shows, brochures etc) related to the promotion and documentation of this Art Raffle, as well as on the Newcastle Art Space website and social media. Copyright of the artwork will remain with you. Please include your full name so we can credit your work.
