Hanleys Creek Dungog
About the artwork:
This Artwork is based on a photograph taken by a local photographer of a property at Hanley’s Creek Dungog, I was drawn to the amazing colours in the fence and the contrast to the landscape. I also love painting birds that have personality, I think this pair is up to no good!
I used the technique of airbrushing to build up layers in the background, adding more details in the foreground, to draw the eye forward. This painting is a mixture of acrylic airbrushing, painting, and pencil/ pastel.
