Julianne Ross Allcorn
Caught in the River Reflection
About the artwork:
Each night before bed I step outside. I close my eyes, my breath slows and I listen for the furthest and closest sound. I sense the coolness and slowly open my eyes looking up to the stars....and share my deepest thoughts.
This starry world I see at night is too large to capture so I have shown them in the reflection of the river that runs through the valley with the softly lit silhouette of the flora and fauna with quiet drawn lines suggesting topographical view.

About the artist:
We escape to the Burralong Valley where our much loved extended family's little house is. She is wrapped and immersed in the flora and fauna and where my heart slows down and escape to my bush studio.
