Hye In Kim
We are survivors
About the artwork:
I am a single mother who has kids with disabilities and an Asian migrant woman with English as second language in Western environment. Those intersectionality notions always feel me as vulnerable self had been discovered like discoloured apple with a peeling skin in the air. As an individual who is an important component of a society, I would like to speak by borrowing the power of visual language. Please see us from a spectrum perspective. We all deserve a crown just by giving meaning to ourlife
