THE GOLDEN HOUR
About the artwork:
My intention was not to make a realistic representation of Nobbys Breakwall; it is more a recreation painted by heart after revisiting some of the photos I take on my walks at sunset around my favourite places: Nobbys, Strzelesky lookout, the harbour,
etc., but mainly at the break wall at Nobbys to watch the beautiful skies. Like other places in Newcastle, Nobby gives a space meaning, personality, and a connection to personal identity to a site.
