2.- This painting is my homage to a recently departed friend and the city I love: Newcastle. The Strzelecki Lookout is a place that has given meaning to the space and became a site to admire, visit, relax, meditate, dream and pay respect to those who lost their lives in adverse circumstances. Indeed, it is the culturally ascribed meaning given to a space.

About the artist:
Newcastle is my adopted home. I arrived twenty-two years ago as an international student to obtain a PhD at the UON. I fell in love with the Hunter region and decided to continue my life here.
