Beaumont St Clock Tower
About the artwork:
Walking past the Beaumont St Clock Tower daily grew my interest to paint this historical icon & place myself as part of the painting going to the Café as I have done so many times before. Using a loose and detailed watercolour style emphasised the wet surfaces & light reflection. Drawing the eye to the warm tones of the Tower contrasting with the cool palette of greys from the tones in the clouds moving to the darker greys of the bare winter trees.
