About the artwork:

This painting celebrates and immortalizes the Tall Ships and their crews, who, over time in the early phase of Hunter Valley history, exported the grain, wool, wine and coal to the world, and imported the humanity and iron ore for a very special society in Australia. The outcome condensation is called culture, within which the painting defines the beauty of a Tall Ship at rest, one misty morning on the Hunter River.
