About the artwork:
A tiny backyard in Birmingham Gardens from my childhood inspired this painting. I tried to convey is abundance, consumed by gum tress and camellias and a feeling of vastness in a tiny block. I think a lot of us can relate to this feeling of these small, quiet moments being etched into our memories that remind us of why we call the Hunter home.
