About the artwork:
'rushing' is based on time spent on the Pages River after heavy rains. I walked the banks looking for a way to cross and am struck by the irony of the situation. In escaping the rush of the city to the tranquility of the bush, nature reminds me that we are all speeding and maybe I just need to stop and listen.
