"Wild Heart" of Newcastle City120
About the artwork:
A ‘birds-eye view’ of the streets or “veins” reveals a “Wild Heart” of Newcastle which is Black Butt Reserve. The fluoro Yellow spray cans and black ink creates an urban feel surrounds a sleeping Koala shaped reserve. Which represents the wildlife, flora and fauna I see represents the “Wild Heart” of the city which has inspired me. The French ultramarine ‘Tattooed Out’ style commonly seen throughout my artworks, provides an additional element of storytelling by show casing icons of Newcastle.
