I wanted to celebrate Audrey and her enduring service to our native fauna and our Hunter community. Audrey established the first NSW volunteer wildlife rescue group in 1978, HWR, and has since then become an oracle for the group. She has rahabilitated and released thousands of natives back home, is continuously sharing her extensive & invaluable knowledge with volunteers and community and was recently a first responder in the recovery of injured wildlife during the bushfires, one being Ginger Rogers
