Artist Name:
Jennifer A. Sandstrom
The dam wall.
About the artwork:

While studying at the Newcastle Art School, I researched an artist called Emily Kame Kngwarreye. This painting is looking at the vast contrast of colours on the Dam wall, with an Analogous colour palette. The area changes colour at different times of the year due to vegetation. It brings a lifetime of memories flooding back when I see this area from nothing to increased vegetation, birdlife and frogs.
