Artist Name:
Howard James
Grey Winter Sunday - Gloucester
About the artwork:

Winter, wet, cold and bleak. This view demanded attention in its stillness and calm. The township incidental against the the backdrop & the drama of grey weather over the range. The stillness allows a whispering air noise to softly rise up from the valley. An old man from the Kimberly, taught me to connect to place, to be in it. To let it weigh on me. His goal was always to connect people to country. If you do, the landscape makes you stop & remember how big it is and how small you are. Breath
