The environment in which I live plays a big part in defining who I am and what influences my art practice. The topography of my place - the lines, form, composition - the bays, the mountains, the shoreline - this all provides a sense of place for me. This artwork explores my relationship to "The Bay" - it can be seen as a cul-de-sac, but it can also be seen as somewhere that is nurturing and provides a safe harbour.
