The Bogey Hole is a location rich with history and charm, each time of day brings a new perspective to it's beauty; all of it's jagged edges, steep slopes and bodies of water.
I have chosen to paint this area during the sunrise, where your surroundings feel most peaceful, when colours come to life and form a new beginning.
The solo swimmer, encompassed by the rocky cliff, is small in comparison to the monumental natural features that define Newcastle's History and personality.
