The artwork "Pushing Woman" is an amalgamation of my and my fellow women "support network" experience. My moto in life is - Keep Pushing. Countless times in my life in Hunter I have repeated it to myself and my girl-friends in difficult situations. I have seen many women I know personally and I had a privilege to observe at work and in my studies who persever anything through ongoing resilience. This work is a representation of this continuous energy women in Hunter continue to show.
