Women who surf
About the artwork:
Women who surf celebrates our local ladies paving the way and breaking down stereo types in what has previously been a male dominated sport. Facing sexism and adversity within this culture, women who can surf are now earning respect and encouraging other women to paddle out the back with the guys. Surfing has become more inclusive, and we should celebrate the achievements, skill and female beauty of the ladies riding the waves, around the Hunter’s stunning coastline.
