Micro Theatre is an independent short play festival where short plays are performed in alternative spaces in Newcastle. Doors open at 6.30pm for a 7.00pm show. The performance will run for approximately one hour.
The four plays to be performed at Newcastle Art Space (NAS) each night are:-
1. Evelyn the Vague, written by Tracey Dwyer and Kylie Farrugia and directed by Sallyanne Scotton-Moonga
2. Murder Plot, written by Debra Hely and directed by Charlie Eastwood
3. Band Aid, written by Tallulah Eden and directed by Phoebe Turnbull
4. Small Hard Truths, written and directed by Vanessa Bates.
Buy your tickets early as some shows do sell out and with the 2021 season we are required, by law, to maintain strict control of audience numbers. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
The two other venues who are part of the Micro Theatre Festival in 2021 are The Base and The Owens Collective. For more information visit our website - www.microtheatre.com.au
