After completing an Associate Diploma in Jewellery Design through Enmore Design Centre in 1996 Jackie returned to Newcastle to continue making, while learning other practices enrolling in short courses such as foundry metal casting, furniture design and welding.

Jackie's jewellery is of a contemporary style and she likes to focus on creating designs that will age with the wearer without dating. She draws on themes from her coastal surrounds and love of design and architecture. She loves the personalised and sentimental elements her jewellery brings to her clients, along with the sense of pride and accomplishment she feels when seeing a piece come to fruition from her initial design sketches, through the various manufacturing process to the end product.

Her main body of work is not outsourced or mass-produced, so even if pieces are a part of a limited edition – no two pieces will be identical.

You can find her & her work at Make Space at The Station (Newcastle) as well as other galleries in Newcastle & Canberra.

You can see more of Jackie's work on her website, and follow her on on Facebook and Instagram.
