Jim Griffiths

Jim is a studio artist at NAS and has been involved in a number of shows at the gallery.

His recent work explores the links between photography and memory  and in particular, the importance of modes of display of family photos as a mechanism to shape personal narratives. 

He is currently working towards a PHD in Photo Media at Newcastle University.

In addition to being a photographer and university student, Jim is an experienced lawyer and would bring a wealth of business and legal experience to the Board if elected. He is particularly interested in promoting increased awareness of NAS and exploring sponsorship opportunities with the Newcastle business community.
